Love

I came across a book last Friday. One of the chapter really caught my eyes on it. It talks about our Christian love.

It says that, " We talk freely about love, for example, and we agree that love is the mark of a Christian, but we do not act in loving ways... Sometimes it seems that we forget that the love basic to Christianity...Christian love is giving, patient and ..."

Sometimes I have this struggle, too. Do you?

Soup ..湯( II )

上次同大家談及的煲湯食譜，是從一個介绍的養狗的節目中抄寫出來。驚訝嗎？主持人說這一個富有營養價值的湯水，最好是用來補充狗隻的日常需要。

看來，現今有些狗隻比我們穿得、吃得還要好很多。難怪有些人會不其然的說一聲：「小狗，我羨慕你！」

Soup ..湯( I )

紫椰菜 150g

西生菜 100g

红籮白 100g

番茄醬 50g

豬肋骨 500g

清水 1000cc

將所有材料放進煲內煲一小時，便可享同。

Pray for you... the little one

Tonight we saw an accident. The old man was hit by the left turned minivan when he was crossing the street. It is so scary! Fortunately, he was not badly hurt but we can tell that he is in fear and shocked.

This accident just reminded me another accident that happened in our neighborhood two weeks ago. That night was raining and dark. A little girl was killed by the car when she was using the cross walk. Every time when we pass by that cross walk, my heart is so heavy. I may not truly experience how her family feel and how hurt are they. But as a father of two, I can really say that it is not easy and it hurts a lot.

When I feel helpless like this, I turn to God and pray. "Dear Lord, please bless this little soul. May she be with you in peace now. Comfort her family with your soften voice. Give them strengthen to go through this difficult time. In Jesus name, I pray ... Amen. "

牛一

今天是太太的牛一。我想最開心的應該是孝詩，因為她不單有蛋糕吃，而且又可以吹蠟燭。所以食完蛋糕之後，她已經急不及待的問 "明天到邊個生日啊？"

願太太有一個快樂的生曰！

不要浪費

昨天和Flora收拾孝詩Eunice和孝恩Isaac的舊衣服時，發覺很多衣服還是很新。有些只是穿了一兩次便不再合適了。如果掉了它們，倒覺得有點兒浪费。但是送給朋友的仔女，也不是個個歡喜或需要這些"二手貨"。所以我們只好决定將這些舊衣服捐贈給一些慈善機構罷了。

現今我們物質上供應，實在是豐富得很。什麼東西都可以隨手可得。一些用舊了或不合潮流的物品，往往都是被送到堆填區。而我們對食物上的浪费，更是對一羣在饑餓中的兒童來說是一個諷刺。也許我們是時候坐下來想一想吧？
