Day 6 Regina to Vancouver
After visiting Sasktoon and Regina, I have a very good impression about them. People are more friendly and easy going. They are not that "complicated " than people who live in a big city.

Day 5 Saskatchewan - Regina
Belle Plaine Potash mine
This is the dedusting machine that I brought along for this trip
Regina is a bigger city than Saskatoon. You can see more big stores like Staples, Vision, Canadian tire, Superstores etc. They are all quiet closed to the hotel that I am staying.
This morning had to wake up early again. It took me 45 minutes highway drive to another mine site. I realize that it is not easy to drive on those highways. The wind from both sides of the highway blows your car left and right. It is because all the flat farm lands.
After spending the whole day in Belle Plaine which is closed to another town Moose Jaw, my mission will be finished soon. Just only need to type up the summary report tonight. If I am luck, I can catch the early flight back home.
Tonight I was too tired to go out for dinner. So I chose to go to the hotel restaurant. I would like to order something different.... Pork chop. But I regret my decision. For the whole meal I was chewing a dry hard pieces of meat. Chewing gum is even better... We're all human, sometimes we make poor decision.

Day 4 (part 3) Saskatchewan - Regina
Compare to Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn is a lower class one but the cost for a room is exactly the same. Flora told me that Eunice and Isaac keep on asking, 'Is it Friday yet?" Eunice asked me today, "daddy where are you now? ". I told her , " daddy is working in Saskatchewan right now." So she said," Ok! you are coming back tomorrow ar?" Eunice has running nose now...It is beacuse the weather has been up and down in Vancouver.
So I decided to buy something for these two little ones. I bought a leap frog "Dora the exporler" game for Eunice and Barney music video for Isaac. After shopping at Walmart, I had dinner. I had Cannelloni and Casear salad.
Have to sleep and prepare another long day tomorrow.
Day 4 (part 2) Saskatchewan - Vanscoy to Regina
After leaving Vanscoy, I stopped by Mr. Mac to get something to eat and drink. The highway 11 is not too many traffic and the max limit is 110 km/hr. The scenery was so nice along it (all farm lands) so I took some photo while I was driving. The temp was up to 30 degree. Air condition was on, music was on and food was eaten. After half an hour drive, I started to feel my eyes were so tired... so I had to keep on eating, keep on singing and keep on photoing. (at one point, a mind flashed through..."stop the car and sleep for a while")
Fortunately, my client called and I talked with him for 10 minutes... then I was awoke again. So I decided to drive a bit faster... 130 to 140 km/hr. The Corolla started to shake ... especially when passing the big truck. Ring ! ring! phone call again...good ...It was from my Vancouver office.
It took me 3 and half hours to arrive Regina downtown Holiday Inn. Thanks God ...I made it ...It's all graces and your prayers.
Day 4 (part 1) Saskatchewan - Vanscoy
Early morning Hot balloon
I was so tired last night but could not sleep until 2 o'clock. My mind seemed to keep on working for the whole night. Woke up at 6 this morning. After eating breakfast, I drove to a small town which is called Vanscoy and locates at south west of Saskatoon.(approx 2 to 3 thousands people) One of the potash mine is over there... Almost missed the small road entry. Worked through lunch hour and left there around 2:35 pm. Here you go... Regina!

Day 3 Saskatchewan -Saskatoon
Day 3 morning
PCS Lab
The Hilton Garden Inn that I stay
The sky was not clear when I was driving to University of Saskatchewan this morning. Sun was blocked by the thick flog or smog.
After so many tests, we found the root of the problem. Thanks God.. Finally it is over and we can move on. However, I am half day behind my schedule. Have to catch up all the works tomorrow and wish for the best too. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon, I will not be so tired when I am going to drive to Regina.
After taking meal with my client, I just realize that Saskatchewan has its own berry. It is called Saskatchewan berry. They can be used to make pie, ice tea...etc. I tired the Saskatchewan berries today. They are sweet, more or less like blue berries. However, I do not like the berry ice tea, it tastes like medicine to me... yuk!
Tonight I had a dinner with my clients... It was a very nice restaurant and I had a steak and lobster...cheese cake for desert... I did not talk too much during the dinner since they were talking about golf, politic in here and their retirement plan investments.

Day 2 Saskatchewan -Saskatoon
University of Saskatchewan
Day 2 in here was tired... I spent the whole day in University of Saskatchewan since my client has its own potash pilot plant within the university.
The weather was hot and humid today. Temp was up to 29 deg C. We did 30 tests today and for every test, we had to walk up to the 3 storey high humidity control room. Lots of exercise for my legs today. Unfortunately, we still cannot find out what's the problem between the results ... So it means I will have more stair climbing for tomorrow.
Tonight I walked along the river side, people were so friendly and greeted me along my walk. I guess you do not see this in a big city likes Vancouver anymore. Agree or not?

Business Trip to Saskatchewan
On Sunday morning, I will be flying to Saskatchewan for a week of business trip... The first stop will be Saskatoon. I am going to visit several Potash mine sites and run some tests along with them. On Wednesday afternoon or evening, I have to drive extra 3 to 4 hours to my next stop - Regina and do the same thing with other mines.
I will drive a lot on this trip ( all the mines are away from the city) and unfortunately I have to do it by myself. Hopefully I will not get lost in the middle of no where la!
Lord, please give me a safe trip and enough sleep. Flora will has extra strength to take care of Eunice and Isaac in Vancouver too amen.
