Moses

Moses answered God, "But why me? What makes you think that I could ever go to Pharaoh and lead the children of Israel out of Egypt?"

"I'll be with you," God said. "And this will be the proof that I am the one who sent you: When you have brought my people out of Egypt, you will worship God right here at this very mountain."

Moses raised another objection to God: "Master, please, I don't talk well. I've never been good with words, neither before nor after you spoke to me. I stutter and stammer."

God said, "And who do you think made the human mouth? And who makes some mute, some deaf, some sighted, some blind? Isn't it I, God? So, get going. I'll be right there with you—with your mouth! I'll be right there to teach you what to say."

He said, "Oh, Master, please! Send somebody else!"

God got angry with Moses: "Don't you have a brother, Aaron the Levite? He's good with words, I know he is. He speaks very well. In fact, at this very moment he's on his way to meet you. When he sees you he's going to be glad. You'll speak to him and tell him what to say. I'll be right there with you as you speak and with him as he speaks, teaching you step by step. He will speak to the people for you. He'll act as your mouth, but you'll decide what comes out of it. Now take this staff in your hand; you'll use it to do the signs."

Sometimes, I do feel like Moses... afraid of lots of thing and always ask "why me?" Plus try to find all sort of excuses to hide from His face.

Always Grace

If you notice that you can always find Grace around you every day. I am not talking about your friend or your co worker who's name is Grace. What I am talking about is God's Grace. In a very fast pace and business world that we are living, it is very easy to miss the Grace of God that has been given to us( cause we are too busy to notice all of them) . However, I can guarantee that if you are willing to sit down for a moment and reflect, you are able to see lots of graces which have been poured upon you daily.

And I have a good one in this evening. Flora cooked a fish tonight for dinner. Fish is Isaac and Eunice favour dinner dish. As a parent, we have to be very careful when we are feeding our kids with fish, especially some of the them have lots of bones. Tonight, I gave some pieces of fish (try my best to remove all the bones that I saw) to little Isaac and placed them into his bowl of rice. He ate almost the whole bowl of rice unitl the last bit that he could not finish. So I let him to move on his next favorite task -- eating fruit.

Since I did not want to waste the rice that was left, I ate it. When I started to chewed on it, I felt a sharp object within the rice...Uh...O! As I expected, I found a small pieces of fish bone within the rice. At that moment,I totally felt that God's Grace is always around us. He takes care of us in a big and small ways.

Thank you God... You are my hero of today!

Vision

Tonight, I had a chance to share with few brothers about " Vision ". As a Christian, sometimes we lost our focus and our vision and even though we do not realize it. We just look like a machine routinely working daily in and out, up and down. Without thinking about changes or the dreams and visions that God has planted in our hearts.

So... after a long discussion, we came up our own vision and would like to spread it around and affect others one day. So...brothers....add oil! Pray for our vision and dreams. I believe it will come true soon!

Solomon prayer & God answer

"Solomon said, "You were extravagantly generous in love with David my father, and he lived faithfully in your presence, his relationships were just and his heart right. And you have persisted in this great and generous love by giving him—and this very day!—a son to sit on his throne."

"And now here I am: God, my God, you have made me, your servant, ruler of the kingdom in place of David my father. I'm too young for this, a mere child! I don't know the ropes, hardly know the 'ins' and 'outs' of this job. And here I am, set down in the middle of the people you've chosen, a great people—far too many to ever count."

"Here's what I want: Give me a God-listening heart so I can lead your people well, discerning the difference between good and evil. For who on their own is capable of leading your glorious people?"

"God, the Master, was delighted with Solomon's response. And God said to him, "Because you have asked for this and haven't grasped after a long life, or riches, or the doom of your enemies, but you have asked for the ability to lead and govern well, I'll give you what you've asked for—I'm giving you a wise and mature heart. There's never been one like you before; and there'll be no one after. As a bonus, I'm giving you both the wealth and glory you didn't ask for—there's not a king anywhere who will come up to your mark. And if you stay on course, keeping your eye on the life-map and the God-signs as your father David did, I'll also give you a long life."

"The word of God came to Solomon saying, "About this Temple you are building—what's important is that you live the way I've set out for you and do what I tell you, following my instructions carefully and obediently. Then I'll complete in you the promise I made to David your father. I'll personally take up my residence among the Israelites—I won't desert my people Israel."

I wish all of us has a heart to pray like this....
