Monsters vs Aliens
We have not seen a movie since Eunice was born (almost 6 years). This afternoon was the first time we stepped in a movie theater. Eunice and Isaac were so excited at the begining. However, when they entered the theater, they did not feel secure and kept on asking when were we going home. Flora and I had to keep on reminding them everything should be alright, just like watching movie on a big screen with the light out.
They settled down once the movie was on. Eunice enjoyed the movie more than Isaac since she understood more than Isaac. Anyway, it was a good and new experience for them.

The "mother" day 4
Today is Easter Sunday which is the time we should remember how Jesus died for us and resurrected after three days.
Eunice and Isaac were so excited this morning since they could go to church and visited their favoirte Sunday school teachers. Good to have an hour back!
如果說「扭計」是小朋友的一種犀利的武器,我是第一個贊成。而今天我就領教多次。So I had to sit down with Eunice and Isaac several times today and talked to them. Also tried to explained to them what is right and wrong.
One more day, Flora will be back.

Easter weekend miracle
Do you believe in miracle? Yes, I do and it just happened on little Isaac. Isaac had a fever on Friday night and seemed to me that this would be another normal sick cycle for him. So what could I do...???
The only thing that I could do is... pray for his speedy recovery. When we were watching Canucks hockey game on Sat morning, I saw some golden sparking dust on his face and head. I asked Isaac where did you get those sparking dust from? He shaked his head and replied to me he did not know. Then I joked with him and said," May be God give it to you and you will be healed soon." He smiled at me and said may be angel Gabriel brought it to me. ( We told Isaac before angel is so strong can protect lots of people)
As of today (Sunday morning), Isaac looks like he is back to normal and it is a truly miracle.
Thanks our heavenly father.

The "mother" day 3
The third day, "mother" is feeling a bit tired since did not has a good sleep last night. Because of the fever, Isaac woke up at 6 am and had to give him another dose of Tylenol. He went back to sleep for two more hours.
Eunice and Isaac were very good today, they drank lots of water and I gave them some special treat...which is M & M. So they love water so much la....
Eunice and Isaac asked me several times today," Daddy, two more days, mommy will be back, right?". I guess they are missing mommy la.

The "mother" day 2
The second day started early... Eunice and Isaac woke up @ 7:30 am. After egg and bread breakfast, they were asking what to do, the best thing to handle this is TV. So I let them to watch their favorite TV cartoons and I tried to wash dishes and do laundry.
After half and hour TV, they were willing to turn off the TV and play. I thought of a good idea to let them play the "ball ball pool" (see picture). They spent hours in and out the pool.
Eunice and Isaac wanted to have chicken feet and BBQ pork bun for lunch, so we went for dim sum in Richmond Then we went to their favoirte pet shop to see cat, dog, fish, rabbit, birdy,.. We also went to Toy's R us to kill some of their energy.
After having a nice dinner with Harry and his family, we went home. Then I noticed Isaac has fever, so I gave him some Motrin and he went to bed. Hopefully he will be better tomorrow morning.

Everyday is a new challenge
Recently, I really feel that everyday is a new challenge, a new start for me.
Lots of things to plan, lots of deadlines to meet, lots of worries to handle, lot of problems to solve, lots of uncertainties to face....But one voice within my heart keeps on reminding me....Slow down, re-focus and rest in me!
It seems to me...I have to listen to this voice more often.
