An email to share

Today I received an email from my friend and it is a good one to share with everyone too.

I AM THANKFUL: FOR THE WIFE
WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

FOR THE HUSBAND
WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

FOR THE TEENAGER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME, NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES I PAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM EMPLOYED .

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME .

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION .

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES AT THE END OF THE DAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME.

2012

Today I took a day off. Flora and I decided to watch a movie "2010". This is a movie which talks about how the earth is going to end in 2012.

After watching this movie, a lots of reflections have flown through my minds. If the world was really going to end in 2012, what should I do, how should I prepare?

These kind of thoughts fall into the same question that I had asked God yesterday. At least one thing I can sure that... we will not like the end of the movie, the world flooded with water again.

祂的...一個問题

今天開車回家之時,望著雨後的天空,不禁地便問了天父一個問题:「袮幾時會回來呢?」祂卻友善地反問了我:「孩子啊!Are you ready to see me yet?」

Very Tired...

Today is a long day again... 12 hours straight. Tired and my stomach pain has not gone yet....

Food Bank

我和太太都有這個習惯。就是每隔一段時間,便會買一些食物放在Food bank的食物收集箱內。今天晚上我們很想把這「習惯」傳給我們的的孩子。所以今天晚上在SuperStore shopping 之時,我們多買了一箱罐頭湯。是要叫Isaac學習一吓。在付款之後,我和Isaac走到Food bank的食物收集箱前,讓他親手放下去。還對他說這些食物是要幫助一些有需要的小朋友。他聽完之後,微笑的點了一吓頭。「施比受更為有福」

草地的淪陷

那些可惡的烏鴉將我們家的前yard弄到體無完膚。牠們每天勤力的在啄,把好好的草地変成一片滄涼。晚上去Home depot 嘗試找方法對付,但他們說太遲。因為我的lawn has already infested with grubs and (烏鴉最喜愛以此小虫為食糧)。So the crows ripped up my lawn every day to feast on the grubs.頭痛!頭痛!

Appointment day

Today was an appointment day. Doctor appointment with Isaac in the morning, Eunice's school teacher appointment,then another eye doctor appointment with Eunice and last one was ... ICBC appointment for the van... Long day...tired but thanks God everything was done.

Let go...

I guess sometimes we are so stubborn to let go something in our lives. However, if you want to have a new chapter in your life or have a new perspective to look at things. You should learn how to "LET GO". It may not be easy but I believe it is worthy.
