大吃一驚!

前幾天太太打電話到我的公司找我。但她的語氣畧帶奇怪,所以我便問她發生了什麼的事。她的回答是:「我...我弄壞了個車輪...」聽完她這樣說之後,內心一沉。心想...「唉!又是破財的時候,至少都要一百幾十。如果個車軸有問題的話,條數仲襟計。」但知道太太也非常之內疚,所以便把所有的不安收起問她:「壞成點啊?行晤行得?」她回答:「斷咗,應該整唔到。」我想:「咁次大件事了。」

靜了數秒太太跟著說:「我唔小心,一鬆手就把它從樓梯掉下來...跟住個輪就斷了。」我便說:「你講乜嘢?」「我話我吸塵個陣時,跌咗個吸塵機落樓梯,個吸塵機的輪就斷咗囉!」

聽完之後,放下了心頭大石。...收缐後,我便安心的繼續工作。

Are you ready for the battle?

If you realize that we are facing different battle every day but are we ready to fight yet?

The Armor of God (Ephesians 6)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

今早我們有機會去探訪別的教會。Flora 和我也頗担心孝恩及孝詩的適應。尤其是在一些陌生的環境,孝詩的反應就特別的大。但是天父的安排總比人籌算的來得好。他們倆個很快便適應下來。而Flora 和我是第一次可以放下他們,安心的去敬拜天父。

Sleeping

How many hours do I sleep every night... I guess 6 hours... I try to sleep early every night but you always have something to do when you want to go to bed.

In my family, Isaac loves sleeping a lot. He spends at least 11 to 12 hours sleep every night. Eunice is next ... she sleeps around 9 to 10 hours. Flora also spends 8 to 9 hours as well.

陌生

每次出trip去到一些陌生的地方工幹的時候,總是感覺到失卻了那份熟識的安全感。往往是期盼著能回家的那一天快些來臨,因為你能重遇上那一些熟識的面孔。

但有陣時那些你以為熟識和藹可親的面孔,卻令你彷如遇上陌生人一般,叫你驚怕及卻步。我真的不大多喜歡這感覺。

Walking with Jesus

If you were a disciple with Jesus in the ancient days, you spent much of your time walking on he dusty road with Jesus, talking along the way. You might stop at an inn for lunch and eat with Jesus. You would have shopped in the market with Jesus. When it rained, you would have huddles under a shelter with Jesus. In other words, you would have lived every part of your life with Jesus

This is what we mean by following Jesus as his disciple. This is not a religious activity. It is not something you only do in church on Sundays. Jesus is a real living person. Walking with him is very real action. It involves every part of our life, not just our inner or "spiritual" nature. (quote from A Passionate Life)

After reading the above passage, God has asked me how often do we walk with him? Do we really care this or not?
