When I woke up this morning, I feel really sick... Too tired to go to the lab today but I did anyway. Running nose, headaches, sneezing all over me. Weather was strange today too, Sun, snow, rain and sun again.
I tried to learn as much as I could, photocopied material as many as I could, wrote notes as many as I could too. However, I am not sure how will it turn out when I am back to Vancouver next week... Money has spent on me already and my boss will expect to see some return from me as well...Pressure...!
I left work early today since I am too tired to stay. After watching TV in the hotel, I went to a Chinese Canadian restaurant for dinner.
Am I crazy, having a Chinese dinner in a small village? But I just want to see and taste how is the food look like.. So typical Canadian Chinese food... ! The owner told me that she has been here for 25 years and she was from HK. Wow! (I heard that she spoke to her husband chef in Cantonese, so I started to talk to her in Cantonese too.) She also told me that if there is no SGS Lakefield in here, this little village should be dead already. Anyway, out of respect, I did finish my dish.. Chicken stir fry with bok choy, bamboo shot and water chestnut.
I will drive back to Toronto tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully I will be better and have more strength and will not get lost again.
